We finally have something to blog about!

Happy New Year to you all. We at Clementine Porcelain have had quite the eventful one thus far.

We are excited to announce that Clementine Porcelain has been selected as emerging designer maker at the New York International Gift Fair Jan.26-29, 2013. This gift fair hosts over 20,000 retail business’ ranging from small local art/boutique shops, to large retailers like Barney’s Department store. 98 percent place orders based on what they see at the show and 78 percent of buyers actually place orders on the show floor.
Clementine, Jesse , and I are thrilled be going to New York for this incredible opportunity. Clementine will be taking in the sites with both of her grandmothers, and probably consuming more street vendor hotdogs than a parent would allow, while we work it at the show!

We will be blogging through out so stay tuned.

Of course, as with all sales at Clementine Porcelain, 25 percent of net profit from show sales will be donated to Foodbank of the Heartland’s backpack program.

New Mold Maker On Staff!

I am excited to report that after about 100 hours of work and over 100 pounds of plaster, I am now a mold maker! Check out the green, white and blue spiral vases on www.clementineporcelain.com. They are cast pieces that will be available in a myriad of surfaces.

Let me know what you think.

Best,

Tracy

On Display

Just wanted to let everyone know that this piece had to be removed from the shop while it’s on display at Anderson O’Brien Fine Art.  If you’re down in the Old Market , stop in and check it out.

This is Christine and Agnes

Recently, a couple of my students and I took some bisque over to Amelia House in Council Bluffs for the residents to decorate.  Augusta, Agnes, Pauline, Donna, Janice, Christine, Gertrude and Jean each glazed a plate for donation.  I would link the picture of Christine and Agnes to some of these plates for sale on our site except they all sold at auction raising $120 for the Plate Project!

Thanks Amelia House!

Above you should see a beautiful, non-objective composition by 7 year old Xander.  We call this one “Dots” and if you want to buy it, click on the image and it’ll take you straight to the product page.

Hopefully you’re looking at a visually pleasing and intuitively functional notification email, if not please let me know so I can get the kinks worked out before you all get annoyed and unsubscribe.

Thanks,

Jesse
